We had a nice quiet Christmas day. Mom took us out to breakfast, then we opened gifts and then had Christmas ham dinner at our house....I even baked an apple crisp....it has been a long time since I baked an apple pie.....delicious!!

So, since I had the afternoon off for fence repair I decided to go ahead and put up the extra hot rope that I've wanted to do for years!
I straightened field fence and installed the hot rope. 
Pretty excited that I did this by myself!! 
Oh yea, I also repaired the broken hot wire.....

Woke up with a skif of snow and ended the day with about 2.5 inches
Mr B and I have always wanted a palomino. We even bred Ruby to a palomino stallion and ended up with my red roan Cashmere. We had a wonderful opportunity to bring this little girl home and give her a shot at a good life. We are sooo happy to have her. Mr B went up on a Wednesday while I was at work and brought her home. Fancy is HIS filly. Can't wait to train her so he can ride. She is registered quarter horse and 3 days older than Cashmere. I have them in the same pen together and these sweet little girls are doing great together! First thing is to get her hooves in shape, she has never been trimmed. I wish I had more warm weather to work with this little girl. I'm going to have a blast in the Spring!
